Dear Dr. Nicki,
We received your sympathy card the other day & I was very touched by your thoughtfulness & generosity of the contribution in Cody's name. I am going to put the card on the last page of his scrapbook.
I want to thank you very much for making a difficult time for me a little easier. Especially since Cody wasn't a patient of yours. I will never forget what you did for us. It was so much better having him put to rest in the comfort of his own home.
I was very blessed to have him in my life and miss him very very much. He was a very special part of my life. Before it became too difficult for him to get in the car he would go to work with me everyday( I delivered newspapers). I loved the alone time he & I had. Every Saturday I would get him a special treat. Once he could no longer go with me he would greet me everyday at the door right until his last day.
Thank you again.
Hi Dennis & Debbie,
Thank you for sharing a little story about Cody. We seldom get to learn about the history of euthanasia patients. That is so great that he kept you company every morning. I love when we walk through the door and our dogs greet us like we've been gone for years. They are our best friends. Take care,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your compassion and professional services this morning regarding Maggie. You are a blessing. Thank you again for all of your help.
Dennis & Debbie
Thank you for your kind words. Even though I've been a practicing veterinarian for many years, euthanasias still affect me. It's so hard to witness a family's grief. The outpouring of love your Dad had for Hooch was so apparent and heartbreaking. The decision to euthanize is never easy, but often, it's one of the most loving acts we can offer our pets. Although taking a pet's life is so difficult, I find comfort in knowing they are with their family in their familiar and loving home.
I wanted to express my gratitude on behalf of our family ( Papesh), for the compassion and warmth you demonstrated when you euthanized my elderly father's dog Hooch. Hooch was the last tie to my mother who passed away years ago so he meant a lot to my father. Thank you also for taking a few minutes to send him a very thoughtful card. Your kindness meant a lot to my dad and to us. I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family. Please let me know what cities you service. I only wish you were out where I live - by Vermilion - but I have friends & family in Royalton & Medina.
Thank you again.
Barb (Papesh) Clough
